Battery life comparisons to Q

I just think in fairness to the Q, you have to remember CDMA chipsets draws more power than GSM. The GSM version of any handset will always perform better in terms of power consumption over a CDMA version (assuming the same mAh rating).

As a side note, I'm pretty impressed with this Sammy's performance in the vault.

The same is not true for WCDMA. 3G phones like this technically have different battery life specs for WCDMA vs. GSM mode, and WCDMA does include voice, so if you're in a major city, you're going to get the worse battery life of WCDMA mode.

yep, that 3G will drain the battery much faster than a non-3G phone. if this device has a battery size/power similar to the i320, you'll do good to get a day's use. it will be interesting to see what battery performance will be with this phone. it's a nice looking device!

In the standard box Samsung is providing 2 batteries with an extra charger, a great value!
