Really??? 299 for this device is ridiculous. 4" screen, slower processor than almost every phone in that price range...nothing about this phone screams 300 dollars.

But remember. Being 4G raises the cost of the device EVERY TIME.

What's funny to me is that the Rezound sports superior specs and is on sale right now for $100.00 less. What gives? I have used most of the Verizon 4G phones and keep coming back to my Rezound. When it comes to this phone, I hav one thing to say... "PASS"

Definitely, if people havent learned the Incredible line up from HTC is pretty garbage... I got the first incredible for my GF bad idea. Then my friend got the Incredible 2 even more headaches... The Rezound I actually like very solid phone and you can flash ICS on it! 😁

This thing is qhd!!! Not the new standard 1280 x 720.

Personally I'm done paying $300 for a smartphone! I know all too well the price will drop in a short period of time. $300 is just too much. There are still no Android smartphones with 64GB's of internal memory like the Iphone, still stuck on 32GB's, and it's not even 32GB's of USER available memory.

Anyway, consumers are just very, very stupid people who will pay anything for anything these days, that's why businesses charge whatever they want.

Consumers aren't smart enough to teach Verizon a lesson and go buy phones at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Amazon, consumers like being financially raped.

Personally I'm waiting for Thursday May 3rd when Samsung unveils the Galaxy S3!!!

Exactly! Consumers just aren't smart shoppers. They should bring a phone geek friend with them when they are in the market for a new smartphone.

That's right. Tell your friends to wait for the Galaxy S3. If they can't wait now, get the Galaxy Nexus with the extended battery. Even that's a better deal

QHD is old news... Plus it doesnt even look that good anways. As for the internal memory there is absolutely nobody that would need that much memory it is absolutely absurd to justify buying a 64GB internal memory phone. Yes consumers are very retarded when it comes to buying phones exactly what iPhone is and every in between Android phone. With so many audio streaming services and cloud services why would you pay $399.99 for a 64GB iPhone or even $299.99 for a 32GB pffft no thank you.

The "Droid" is a pretty big Verizon brand, so they're probably just charging extra for the name. If it wasn't a "Droid" and was just another Android, then the exact same phone would likely be at least $100 less.

High price because of Beats Audio this has pounding bass, dazzling mids, thrilling highs all in a tiny phone. Dr Dre don't play.
