I haven't counted them out. I actually hope they do pull through this slump. As for Windows Phones sucking.....we will have to agree to disagree. People who are properly informed on Windows Phone and actually give it a chance, do like the phone but, the decision to switch from their current phone to a Windows Phone isn't always an easy choice, considering that only one carrier really supports the phone, while others either carry only one first generation model. While it may not have all the customization that Android has, that doesn't make it any less likable or capable. Microsoft, I feel, actually did a lot of things right, when it comes to the OS. But, there is always room for improvement and it isn't for everyone.
Personally, I feel it's a great phone and enjoy it quite a bit. Some folks may argue about the amount of apps verses iOS and Android but, WP app count is just a little over 82,000 and continues to grow rapidly. The issue isn't really the number of apps but, lacking a few of the top apps that are on other OS's. I think all that will change with the release of Windows 8 and WP8. More developers will build apps for Windows 8 and likely WP8, too.
