Google Wallet as a subsitute for lack of an LTE network??

Interesting how Sprint is strongly pitching Google Wallet. Bad enough the phone is already 5 months old but they dont even have an LTE network to run it off of. Does Sprint really think Google Wallet will help people forget about their crappy 3G service and lack of an LTE network? I don't think so.

BigRed75 is little more than a blathering VZW fanboy. He irrationally hates other carriers (particularly Sprint) and support's VZW anti consumer, anti competitive dominance.

Can't everyone just be like me and hate all carriers equally? If anything I'm a Metro PCS apologist.

Well, they do have a 4G network. They were the first carrier with a 4G network. They're switching 4G technologies, not last to the 4G party (that would be T-Mobile.)

Google Wallet is something, by the way. The first carrier to officially support NFC payments is a big deal. Other carriers won't even start their public trials until June.

Well if high speed data matters to someone, then they might as well sit tight and wait for LTE to come to their market prior to purchasing the GNex.

I'm sure it is. I haven't seen it in person yet though. The screen is one of the selling points of the Samsung Droid Charge for me. And on May 3rd I will be paying very close attention to the press conference unveiling the Samsung Galaxy SIII! Oh yeah!!!

🙂 . Very True. It is something just like when They had 4G with Wimax first that was something. However the Galaxy Nexus is a nice I wouldnt go out of my way to buy it there are way better phones that will be coming out during the next couple months and I would much rather wait until they fix the kinks on ICS before I switch over. Still waiting for my HTC Sensation to get ICS.
