The way Nokia has handled this

is really reinforcing my desire to get this phone. Kudos to Nokia for putting the customer first, it's really appealing to see in this day and age.

Agreed. Much better than Apple with antennagate. Nokia acknowledged the problem and came out with a rapid fix whereas Apple denied it until they were forced to address the issue.

I'm not impressed with Windows Phone at the moment though. I'm gonna wait until Apollo.

The great thing about Windows is that Microsoft is managing it like Apple manages iOS, but letting manufacturers make phones. So when Windows releases Apollo, most likely all of the Windows 7.5 phones will get upgraded within a month of each other (as opposed to how the ICS, rollout is being handled).

If you haven't already, you should give it a try! I received mine on 4-13, and the update was already available, much to my surprise, once I connected my Lumia to my laptop & Zune, a software update was available. This phone has been lots of fun learning over the weekend!

I'm a Blackberry guy, have always been a Blackberry guy, and will continue to be a Blackberry guy until the company goes under (if they do) but I've already made up my mind that if Blackberry does indeed go under (which I doubt will happen) I'm switching to Windows Phone.....and if it ever gets down to Android and iPhone being our only choices, I'm going back to feature phones...'a pox on both their houses'.

My last 5 devices were BB's, loved them all, but I felt it was time for a change. I was up for an upgrade, and couldn't pass up the deal on the Lumia!

I like what I see so far from Windows Phone because it looks like, much like Blacknerries, Windows Phones are designed primarily for adults to use to get work done....NOT as a toy for children, like iPhone and Android.
