I thought it was someone making fun of the original Blackberry Storm. Of course I went to the site. Sort of ironic that this happened to them. Those who live in glass houses should probably think twice about tossing stones.
Step 1: Admit fault
Step 2: apologize and offer compensation for your troubles
Step 3: Fix the problem
Apple's way of dealing with a problem however is
Step 1: Deny the problem exists
Step 2: Begin deleting threads complaining about the problem from the Apple support forums
Step 3: Finally admit a problem exists, but blame it on the users
Step 4: Quietly release fix for the problem while still insisting the problem never existed
I prefer the Nokia approach

Actually the 'smartphonebetatest' website was mocking the iPhone....but regardless, Nokia has shown the CORRECT way to handle a problem with product, and has become the anti-Apple.

If you ever go to the Apple Store 'genius bar' for help and the guy says 'well this isn't covered by your warranty....but I'm going to replace it for you anyway' this is Apple speak for 'we are aware that the problem you are complaining about is a serious issue and it is totally covered by your warranty because we fouled up bad, but we are not going to admit that so we will pretend that we are replacing this just because we are nice'.
