RIM should have never entered the consumer market. The consumer versions of Blackberry are nothing but garbage with most consumers replacing them for an Android or some other device.

The name iPad is not an original Apple created name. The name iPad originally belonged to a device made by Fujitsu. It was a multifunction device used in retail industry for inventory checking, price verification and other functions. It was created in 2002 (years before Apple even conceived a tablet). In 2003, Fujitsu applied for the iPad trademark but discovered that the name already belonged to Mag-Tek. Eventually, Fujitsu transferred the name iPad to Apple but Mag-Tek still is a registered holder of the name.
