I think all these swaps should go through an FCC investigation and congressional oversight committee. After all fairs fair.

The Leap-T-Mobile spectrum transaction, like all spectrum transactions, will have to pass through an FCC approval process. But there will be no Congressional subcommittee investigation. The proposed spectrum swap is but a small transaction. To like it to a massive merger (i.e. AT&T-T-Mobile) or a nationwide spectrum grab with collusive cross marketing agreements (i.e. VZW-SpectrumCo-Cox) shows your naiveté and/or bias.

Totally Agree. There is no way this significantly smaller spectrum trade should go through what the other proposed transactions did.

The verizon deal was for 160 AWS licences if I remember right, and the T-Mobile - at&t merger would have been for the entire companies' spectrum.

There is no way this comparatively TINY deal should be given even close to as much scrutiny as those other proposed deals.
