Unless I misread the article, it says exactly the opposite about counting "all data the same". It specifically said that:
$60 buys unlimited talk, text, and 5GB of data (but unlimited access to Rhapsody streaming);
The way I read that is that it is saying any amount of binary data from Rhapsody is given preferential treatment in that it does not count against your allotment, as apposed to competing services counting against the 5 GB.
