RIM Doesn't Want to Talk to Analysts Until After BB10 Launch
RIM won't see 2013
By the time Q4 comes around and they finally do bring BB10 to market I betcha it won't be quad-core & NFC like Android.
RIM just isn't a very forward moving company. Just like ATT isn't. ATT has the money to move just as fast as Verizon is with LTE, but they conscientiously choose not to.

RIM is holding out in order to sell the company at a good price. I don't see QNX ever coming to a RIM smartphone.
oops! 😁 spoke too soon!
They are already sending devices loaded with QNX to developers for them to play with very soon in May.
If RIM was interested in a sale, they would have done this more than a year ago with stock much higher. RIM's failure has already ben built into todays price of the stock. It will only go up if there is excitement about QNX later.

RIM rushed out the Playbook too quickly before it was ready...Playbook 1.0 was at best a half finished product, and because of this it didn't sell very well.
But with OS 2.0 it is finally 'ready for prime time' and is in fact a fine product....many analysts have proclaimed it the best tablet on the market....
With the price cut to $199 they sold out quickly....which just goes to show that the main problem was the PRICE...not the merchandise.
If they can find a way to make it halfway profitable at that $199 price, and the Blackberry 10/Playbook integration is as good as they are claiming things will looking up for them late 2012/early 2013.

RIM #1,#2 and #3 problems can be summarized in one word: Playbook.
