😈
I've had 3 Kyocera's and I'm hard on my phones and all of them have done what they are designed to do... make and recieve phone calls. I will say that the KX2 is very big and while it doesn't feel fragile, it does feel a bit plasticky... ie it doesn't feel solid. The swivel looks like its the weak point of the phone. The camera was very good, the screen was excellent and the call quality was excellent as well.

I can't remember a single model that made me swoon. The 2035 was OK, but no great shakes.

man im tired of poeple bashing this phone without even buying it and tryin it out for themself.
In Argentina this phone works, as right said Mr. Brome, and as all the Kyo phones it works decently, like some Samsung or Moto phones. Too bad that CDMA will be no longer available for use in here... 😢

I personally have been using this phone for the last 10 months or so for purposes of testing with the network. Testers tend to bang the phone pretty hard and so far the swivel hinge is intact and as good as it was when it came to me new.
The kx2 does feel light and placticky which definately gives the perception of fragile, but so do most new VZW phones expcet the V710 and kinda the a670. A drop test would be a great determinant of whether or not it is a perception.
My vox 8900 doesn't feel light and plasticky ...

The KX2 takes some doing to get used to. I love the fact that I don't have to open the phone at all in most "normal" situations and the screen is at least readable in sunny situations.
Cons? At this stage of the game I only have a few.
The phone was designed by a "lefty." If it hinged the other way I'd be happier.
I can't enable the speakerphone without opening the phone far enough to push the button. Something I CAN do with my left hand, but it would be far more conven...

I think this phone has a lot of neat features, but it seems to take longer to operate. One thing I noticed when taking a picture and trying to send it to an email, you need to type the whole address in each time (there is no where to save an email address, which is a pain and time consuming). In the "Contact" tab, you can put someone's name and phone number, but I saw no where where you can store an email address. The phone should have a feature which saves the last email address for faster sending of photos. The buttons have a strange 'empty sounding clicking" when you want to advance to another area - so I se...

If you are unable to get to these features, consult the manual. Actually it is pretty simple to use and has been there on quite a few kyocera phones.
