This is why if you're going to grossly overpay for service Verizon is the best choice. AT&T's not even close. That's partially directed at you Tarheel4life.

Frankly most people have no need for the service they pay for at Verizon. It's much more of a convenient novelty. At least you can get to your 4GB limit fast.

I agree if you're gonna overpay you might as well get the very best. If you're on iPhone with a 2GB data cap, you're really getting raped. I'm grandfathered on 4G so I could care less. Plus I travel and have relatives in "boonie" places so Verizon works for my needs

This is exactly why I joined Vzn! LTE, LTE, LTE! ! ! I was so sick of 3G being referred to as broadband when 90% 3G can barely beat a measly 1mbps. Tmo is the only carrier doing anything with following the 3G-upgrade path with HSPA 42.
