hopefully , this will help T-Mobile in the short run. I know that it's a six year roaming agreement as well. Let's see if they can compete now, but part of me knows that they will be sold one day and one less of the big boys will be around.

The problem is not T-Mobile being sold, but rather their being sold to Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. We need another option. If someone else takes over T-Mobile...GREAT!

Verizon have no interest in buying them, and Sprint will NEVER be allowed to acquire T-Mobile.

Sprints Market Cap is like under $9 billion, doubtful they can come up with that nut.

Sprint has no business trying to take over another company when they can't even run their own.

I agree that T-Mo should not be taken over by one of the 3 other big players. Makes you think though. Verizon expressed buying back Vodafone's shares a few years ago I believe. That would be interesting if Vodafone would finally agree and then use the funds buy T-Mo and enhance it. Perhaps even taking over Sprint's position at the #3 spot. That would be cool. Long as they had a solid network and good pricing.

Actually, Vodaphone made a bid for AT&T Wireless before then Cingular's parents SBC and Bell South outbid them. Did Vodaphone anticipate being out bid or were they simply sick of being Verizon's silent partner? In any event, I'm sure Verizon Communications would be more than thrilled to buy out Vodaphone. They certainly have approached Vodaphone at least twice and been rebuffed.

What happens at the end of the 6yrs? Tmo loses access to ATT's spectrum? What then, how will losing the roaming effect Tmo's LTE network?

Ok, The spectrum that changes hands will belong to TMobile...( Still whaiting for approval though )... They also have a Roaming agreement that will last 6 years but only on specific Markets ( Mainly Major )...After the 6 years no more Roaming agreement but the spectrum will be theres + $3,000,000,000 in cash...Let's see what comes of this in regards to TMobile Coverage, it has to get better with the fees AT&T will have to pay
