AT&T: 12 More LTE Markets Launching Soon
So you lied?
Shame on you? We didn't know you were such a blue liar.

AT&T, you said you needed T-Mobile to even come close to what Verizon is offering currently, yet, you said by the end of 2013, you will have nearly 200 pops covered?

They didn't lie. VZW has twice the amount of spectrum compared to AT&T. It is like put a Pitbull against and Chiwawah

You say this every single time an announcement of at&t expanding its LTE footprint is announced, but repeition doesn't make a misrepresentatio true.
Are you talking about Terry or AT&T?
AT&T long claimed that it *could not* deploy LTE to many rural areas unless it were allowed to acquire T-Mobile. That was a gross "misrepresentation" that AT&T tried to make true through "repetition." And I solidly refuted that distortion within weeks of the merger announcement.
The truth was that AT&T internally decided of its own volition that it *would not* deploy LTE to many rural areas unless it were allowed to acquire T-Mobile.
That AT&T tried to pass off its own choice as a necessary condition...

Except that you are forgetting that at&t has ALREADY found alternative routes to get some of the spectrum it needs, which is part of the reason why they decided to drop the T-Mobile merger.
And saying 'we won't be able to build evetywhere' is quite different from saying that 'we will never be able to build in even a single market anywhere in this country from now until the heat death of the universe.'
Which is the interpretation you are giving it.
It is in fact TRUE that at&t is crunched for spectrum, and that Verizon has more than twice as much spectrum as at&t to serve roughly the same number of customers, and V...

No, I am not "forgetting." Please point to these other "alternative routes." Are you referring to the Qualcomm Lower 700 MHz D/E block acquisition?
Regardless, that is not really "part of the reason why they decided to drop the T-Mobile merger." AT&T abandoned the merger because it came to the stark realization that it lacked the factual, ethical, or legal high ground, that its misinformation and faux populist ideals were not going to succeed in pulling the wool over the public's eyes.

AT&T stated that they would not be able to deploy LTE in rural markets without Tmo's help.
I wouldn't consider any of those markets rural.

except your whole arguement is that AT&T lied about their capacity because they're adding markets to their LTE network.
No, that was not my contention at all.
Terry does have his stats mixed up. But I replied to T Bone's comment about "misrepresentation" that the same, poetically enough, could be said for AT&T in its merger efforts.

And AT&T's assertion about T-Mobile spectrum and rural LTE has been proven false.

Nor would I.
