It's a start

If courts can determine which Apple patents are valid and enforceable (ie no prior art), then it makes sense for Apple to be able to license them out.

I don't want to comment on which ones should/shouldn't be legal, but I just want this patent war to end so that we can start focusing on what matters which is getting the best product out to the customers.

The faster all this nonsense is over with the better, and not only apple, seems kodak is become a nasty patent troll as well. Then again they're on life support and circling the drain. Apple on the other hand is worth aprox. half a trillion dollars. And on their own, could have processed most of Greece's Debt with cash on hand.
