Verizon Launching LTE-Based Home Broadband Service
10GB? For Home?
Believe it or not, I have a 10 GB mifi that I use for my home internet through Verizon. We're only 3G and the device doesn't always work the way it's supposed to, but we usually stay under 10 GB running three computers in the house. I will say, we don't stream a ton of videos, or use our Netflix account online at the house, but for our general purposes, it kinda works.

That's my problem is Netflix. I've never hit our 150GB cap at AT&T but I have a feeling we've come close.

Unfortunately, I live in the sticks. before Verizon, we had Hughesnet anbd had to deal with a daily cap on fair access policy. If you violated, they'd cut the signal in half and be worse than dial up. Looking into the new WildBlue service now, because the MiFi just isn't cutting it. LTE may work better, but until Verizon... or honestly, anyone brings LTE or any 4G to the country, we'll just deal with what we can find.

I know right? I don't think I have ever been under 10 GB, ever since ever having high-speed home service. I have 2 Laptops, 2 Smartphones, PS3, XBOX 360, and iPod 4G.
