🤭

We need spectrum because we see congestion in the future......

Verizon Wireless today announced HomeFusion Broadband, a new mobile data service that is delivered to residences via its LTE 4G network.

Couple that with their push with netflix....

Well the 3G network is already badly congested, and in the next, say 3-5 years or so, all Verizon customers will be moved from 3G to 4G, and by the time that the 4G network gets to the point that the 3G network is now it will be become badly congested and it will be too late to buy new spectrum to fix the problem.

I think the same way... ATT tries to acquire spectrum and the discussion blossoms into a 100+ post free for all.

Verison states one day.... we are starting a home based network, using LTE...
Pushes the NetFlix subscription....
Announces that only 5% of their base has moved to LTE...

Then tries to acquire spectrum, based on future congestion (uhhh... nexflix?...stand alone home based data?.. mostly on the LTE network?, ).....

They are encouraging their customers to use tons of data, selling data services, offering twice the data for the same price....

It's just amusing to watch...
I really don't care, but the 3 ring circus can hold my attention for a while at times.
