Why do they keep squashing or delaying fifth nationwide core networks/carriers? First Lightsquared now Dish. If Dish or anyone else has the spectrum and the desire to build a nationwide cell network, then the government should not only allow them but facilitate and expedite the process! More choices in wireless will keep pricing reasonable for us consumers and the constant competition among more core networks (not MVNOs) will also be extremely beneficial to all of us.

The FCC is charged with making sure that one company's usage does not tread on anothers.

That is exactly why the FCC was formed. To keep radio stations from bleeding over each other. To keep a station from upping their output to drown out a competitor.

So, it behooves the FCC to follow the mandate that created it.

To ensure that one companies use of spectrum does not interfere with other companies already licensed spectrum use.

Well I agree with u 100% I am a VZW fan but still maintain my Alltel benefits, I feel some things that the FCC does is just what I call going with the slow. Me personally, I would live for VZW to succeed in everything bc I'm good with my grandfathered plan with 4G service and looking for better things, but I still would like others to succeed to keep process at level so if I have to change plans for the future it will not cost much.

I was in favor of Lightsquare but when I notice it took my GOD 5-10 minutes to pick up my location I knew it was bad. If dish could do better then I'm all for it. We need lower rates to keep the wireless industry balanced.
