Why in the south, and why so slow?
Really? It's like "oh, we've improved, ....like 1yrd out of 1,000yrs". AT&T and Verizon have announced LTE expansions by the handfull of cities each time, HUGE areas. Sprint is the snailes pace.
By the time they get their LTE to 50% of their 3G footprint, it'll be 2018 and everyone else will be on Super Satalite Tower Future Coverage (SSTFC)?
and according to the Network vision site, by mid-2012 LTE will be rolled out in a handful of places. 2 phones and one connection card under LTE were also announced. yes, it's a slow rollout but better than the 2018 projection your saying
