Galaxy Nexus looks like it's gonna rock-Has almost everything you'd want

Has pretty much everything I'd need, and I'm loving the 4.7" screen... a couple things some may miss might be the Predictive Text entry, an FM radio, and a Memory Card Slot, but I think I'll be able to get over it if this baby operates as smooth as I'm hoping on Androids 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Agreed. This thing is a beast.

I, too, was initially turned off by the lack of an SD card slot on the original Nexus 4G, but with so many ways to store things online, it's kind of a trivial gripe at this point.

ALL this technology and No SD card slot..what an effing joke. FAIL !
...
Who needs an FM radio when we have the TuneIn Radio app, it has tons, and tons of radio stations from all across the globe, including local.
...
its already outdated and lags behind with its 5mp camera 🙄

Won't sync all my FaceBook contacts & pix like I easily did w/ my DroidX

Been reading how the Galaxy Nexus won't simply sync up with all my FB contacts like my any Moto Droid will easily do. One forum recommended I get the app HaxSync. (I think I have to also 1st install the official FB app). Any info / input / advice on if this is the only (or the best) way to get all my FB contacts (with their pix) on the Galaxy Nexus that I'm about to get. Is there any reason to get the Droid Razor instead. Still leaning towards the Galaxy Nexus at this point.

No LTE?

Will there be LTE support on the Galaxy Nexus Global?
Not in this specific version. But the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon will have LTE.

Global ?

If this phone is so global why is it only a dual band GSM? That makes no sence!
That was an oversight in our specs. Sorry! 🤭

Fixed. Thanks.

Why even get this phone?

Honestly, hhat's the point? No MicroSD support and no flash. Well, flash will come 'sometime' in December. Why even make this phone? Just to say they have the first phone with ICS? Seems a waste of time and resources that could be spent elsewhere, like ummm actually putting GB or ICS on their current devices?

Just a thought.
