So disappointing....

Nokia is among my favorite cell phone manufactures of all time. I am so sad and disappointed to see them go with Windows Phone 7. I absolutely loathe the Metro UI. It is by far the ugliest UI on a smartphone I have ever seen.

I would have liked to have seen Nokia go with webOS. I really think they could have saved it. HP didn't give a damn. All they wanted was the patents not realizing it's full potential. I really think a Nokia webOS based device would have kicked ass!
Big mistake for them to go with Windows garbage. They're the new Palm and will wind up in the dust bin next to the Treo phones. WebOS could've saved Nokia, but I think they're toast now. Maybe they can merge with RIM...

CDMA? Really??

It's been an eternity since Nokia has put out a CDMA handset. The last time around, I used to hear a lot of complaints about reception with Nokia CDMA handsets.
Hopefully with the time they have had , there has been improvement.
They really have to if they want to compete seriously in NA. They'd be locking themselves out of half the market.
