Vibrate?
The company I work for has just assigned me a new PM8920 phone, and while I don't love it, I'm sort of stuck with it.
I haven't been able to figure out how to turn the ringer off and have the phone vibrate though. I searched the manual, and found the info but when I try to do as instructed, the options aren't there.
Is there an easy way to toggle this phone from ring to vibrate?

Ok so I just got this phone, and I noticed that to the lower left of the camera and sort of under the antenna, there is a little flap like the headset jack but I have no clue what it is. Can anyone help me out w/ this?

Handset Manager for PM8920
Has anyone tried Handset Manager for PM8920? Personally I think it is very nice. I can manage phone book (this is very important to me) and do many things for the wallpaper and images.
Everyone seems to know futuredial and Susteen, which both have crappy products. After I try this Handset Manager product, I think it is really better than anything else, especially for PM8920. 🙂

unlocked phone
does anyone know where i can get an unlocked version of this, and can i get it to operate on verizon?
its different software and Verison needs that esn added to the database and from what I have heard it is extreamly difficult to do this due to proprietary phones. Verizon does offer a very similar phone thoug

**Battery life on the Audiovox 8920**
According to Sprint's website, the battery life for this phone is excellent.

The standard battery gives you 5.7 hours of talk time. That sounds too good to be true due to the fact the phone has a screen resolution of 262K colors and a built in 1.3 Mega-pixel Camera. Just those two features alone take up a lot of battery life. I believe that if you had an extended battery then it could be possible.
The phone should be out within the next week.

That's why it says 5.7 hours of contniuous "Talk Time" not camera time and how many times you open the flip to check out all the lovely colors.

Where does it say that the LGVX7000 is has a megapixel camera? Phonescoop doesn't list it's "megapixelness" under it's specs...

The VX-7000 is not megapixel, it's VGA.

I work at RadioShack, and a memo yesterday stated that we would be carrying the phone. So make sure you check http://www.radioshack.com for store availability. I think we'll have it within the next week or two.
The press release said Sprint Stores should have it.

This has to be the HOTTEST phone. I have Verizon and I WISH SO BAD i was able to use this phone for it. 5.7 hour talk time!!!!! This is unheard of!!! Size style, speaker phone Cam...again WOW. IF anyone at all know if i can somehow conver t htis phone to work for me on VERIZON...PLEASE LET ME KNOW

I just spoke to a Sprint rep at a store near my home, and he stated the phone should be in the stores by Thursday. I believe I will be getting one as soon as they are out!
I thought this was comin out last thursday. Did they cancel it or whats up with this phone not being out yet.

I just bought an 8900 and I'm considering the 8920 or other megapixel phone/camera. Does Audiovox have a poor reputation for their camera phones?
It appears the only way to move photos from the 8900 to my computer is via email. Is this true? I'll be taking 20 to 40 pictures a day (I'm a real estate appraiser) and I'll need a better/faster way to get them onto my computer. Any advise is appreciated.

Sorry, but with Verizon camera phones picture mail is the only way to get the pics off your phone, and outside of a package for pics its $.25 each pic you send. I'd recommend holding out for the Motorola v710, which will have a memory card slot; hopef...
