What about Toshiba?

Wonder what will happen to Toshiba-made phones for US carriers? Article mentioned that Audiovox will buy back Toshiba's share. Will Toshiba start selling its phones to Verizon, Sprint and others without Audiovox under the Toshiba brand? Would be nice. I'd love to see more Toshiba phones available and more often than once a year.

IMHO, Toshiba-made AVX phones were/are far superior to anything that Curiltel made. Only difference was that Curitel phones were/are very low end and Toshiba's are more on the higher end.
