Great!

But does this mean my new HTC will be a pothead? Will Snoop or Slim Shady make a guest appearance on my phone? 🤣
I'm still trying to figure out what exactly this is all about. HTC smartphones have a 3.5mm headphone jack anybody can buy a pair of Beats headphones and use them with any smartphone that has a 3.5mm headset jack.
...
this is just speculation at this point but i'm sure this will allow HTC phones to use audio drivers (or amp) written / produced by Beats to improve the sound quality ..

i would assume this would work the same way that Voodoo Sound does for Android...

Overrated, overhyped and overpriced

Anybody who buys beats is a sucker and an attention whore. They sound like $hit. Way too much bass and they use batteries?? Are you effin kidding me??? My $60 Sony MDR-V6s sound better. Don't fall for it!! Buy a quality product like Sennheiser
most noise cancelling headphones or those with a built in amp use a battery...
just sayin'.
...
I would say underrated considering Dr. Dre himself uses them. I remember Beats still were the $hit before Dr. Dre became the face of them. Very commonly used head set in the disc jockey industry.
My friend's new Chrysler 300 has it and it's the best audio system in a car I've ever heard. It sounded even better than the 9 speaker Bose system in my uncle's Gallardo.

In other words.

HTC is overpaying to use a brand on their phone so more young people will buy it. Beats Technology is just a hip brand meant to deceive the youth.
Beats makes the best headphones I have ever used. How is that a hip brand?
...
Man, I don't know about that claim. I'm pretty sure that Dre isn't one to try and eff over his audience.
