Droid 2 global on AT&T

Since Droid 2 global can be used overseas with sim card, can it be used on AT&T?

Global only??

Come on Verizon... what about 2.3 for Motorola Droid or Droid 2? This lack of support for "older" phones is unacceptable.
I don't know, there's quite a firestorm regarding GPS issues in addition to many bugs with other devices upgrading to 2.3.

Why Would Anyone Buy This Phone Now ...

with LTE and the Verizon iPhone just around the corner?

Granted, it's about time Verizon Came Out With a Global Android, but this should have happened months ago.

At this point, I and almost everyone I know is waiting to see what the LTE models can really do before upgrading their phones.
The first devices released for LTE will be dedicated modems (USB, MiFi, etc). Phones won't start coming out very soon, and even when they do, I doubt we'll get anything as nice as this phone.

The iPhone lacks a physical keyboard, and is not running...

There are two very big reasons that I switched from the Motorola Droid to the Droid 2 Global rather than the iPhone. One is Apple and the other is APPLE! For example, most of the useful apps for Droid are free...Apple apps cost cost cost...

I'm Assuming?

I'm assuming if one can get the gsm side of this phone unlocked, it will work on AT&T and with their 3g?

LTE...

I'm ready to swap out my BB Storm, quite possibly for this phone.
Since the announcement of phones becoming available for LTE in February I'm thinking it might make sense to wait. I'm working on the assumption that the current Droids including the Droid 2 Global are not LTE compatible.
Just wondering what some of you phonophiles think since you're all way more knowledgeable on these matters than me. Thx in advance.
current devices are not LTE capable. You most likely won't see those till late spring next year.

That being said, we have no idea what plans will be like either.
