I disagree

I kinda think he is bored and looking for something to do for the next 12 months, lol. The merger would make sense if at@t would release more info on what maybe some of the plans would look like. They have conceded they will give up some spectrum, which should be blocked from verizon. I also think everyone is jumping the gun a bit with bashing anyone in this situation. We all need to wait a bit and see what either company, plus big brother is going to do or say. Just my opinion
He must carry a Sprint phone.

What is good or bad depending on which side of this you're on. By him making this statement, he may have to recuse himself from this decision.

Let's Seize This Opportunity

Okay, to those of you who are against this merger. Here is a potential winner. We need to write this guy and convince him that his reservations are on point and that he should do the right thing and oppose this transaction. It is that simply. He has a gut feeling deep inside that this merger does not serve the public good. If one has to think that hard (market-by-market) then just don't do it.
Because if every rule or law was made by people's "gut feelings", we would live in a perfect utopia, right????

What about all the other carriers?

I wonder if Copp would make all the other carriers agree to this as-yet-undefined requirement as well??
And what does this requirement really have to do with this buyout/merger?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Copp also said A&T would have to agree to an as-yet-undefined "requirement to preserve the openness of the Internet."
If they were attempting to buy T-Mobile? Perhaps... Since it is AT&T which is trying to reach the 130 million mark presently...let's stay on topic shall we?
