T-Mobile Responds to Customer Concerns Regarding AT&T
I think everyone needs to shut up already!
I think all of you complaining about how AT&T is going to be " to big " should just shut up already. This is a business and life ran around making money! AT&T shouldn't be punished in anyway just because they were smarter then the other phone carriers & bought out TMO. Sorry that Sprints services suck so bad that this for sure will make them the bottom of the list. With AT&T & TMO merging together; it'll be LESS expensive & have a BETTER quality of handsets! Think about that. It's TWO companies merging together. They won't need to raise any prices, because they will have a combined customers ALREADY! I think this is the smartest thing for both carriers. This WILL result in less consumer choice, higher prices, lower quality of service, and higher prices. Rural America will be hit the hardest - as if you note in any propaganda that AT&T put's out they are only referencing the top 20 markets.

i agree that this will result in less competition and higher pricing among the major carriers. is it the end of the world? probably not, but at&t is a few steps closer to another antitrust lawsuit....it will happen again someday just like it happened ...

Bad for consumers
This merger would be bad for consumers. As soon as the the deal is done AT&T and Verizon will have more than 80% market share. This will drive up prices and decrease competition.

You know it's coming. It happened with AT&T Wireless, [Dobson] Cellular One, and some Alltel customers.
It seems to me they're implying that after your contract ends, you will have to choose a current (and almost certainly pricier) plan and replace your SIM card.

Demand Pentaband!!!
Demand that T-Mobile carry Pentaband HSPA so it will work on AWS as well as 850/1900 (and international to boot.) Then there is no fear of it becoming Edge only...
