Is it worth upgrading from Sam Galaxy 3G to 4G

I currently own a Galaxy 3G and find the internet slow. I do a speed test and usually cant get past 1m, and the upload speed is faster than the download speed.
also the battery does not last more than a day or 2.
I can get a new Galaxy 4g for about $50.
Is it worth the upgrade ?
please let me know what you think .
thank you in advance.
You probably already have your answer now but I'd say NO.
In the Phoenix area there is hardly any 4G coverage except at T-Mobile stores and even there 3G is still faster! The dual band feature of the Galaxy S 4G might be helpful though depending on ...

What OS is the Galaxy running?

The reason I ask is that I have bought a few used Vibrants on Craigslist and I have one that looks different than the rest. The "normal" ones all have the eyes on the left of the earpiece that turn the screen on when you pull your head away but, the "odd" one has what looks like a camera hole on the right of the earpiece. The other two do not have this. I haven't actually seen the new Galaxy S in person to compare but, thought maybe someone "flashed" this phone wrong and could only get the older Vibrant OS running again. Any thoughts?

Feeling kinda sad...

...staring at my Vibrant thinking..."damn I should've waited!" Crying or Very sad
Just got the vibrant on Saturday, upgraded it to 2.2 and it been great so far, the 4G speeds are cool and the FFC as well but it doesn't have the 16GB memory built in. It comes with a high capacity memory card but I like that I can expand my storage o...

iPhone - Tmob

OK, when the iPhone came out, I still had my Dash, the one BEFORE the 3G Dash. Then I picked up an Original 4GB iPhone and unlocked it. It's been great! Now it feels long in the tooth because of the network speeds. My iPhone still connects at EDGE speeds. The S 4G looks like a fantastic Android model so I think it's upgrade time.
