lets see what Kyocera can do..

Kyocera is tired of people calling them "cheap"
they are going to revamp their look.
But still i have doubts about this phone. Without a Duel core, or Front cam I don't see this being the new "it" phone.

Looks sorta like a Nintendo DS...

Wait...

Was this the "Big Announcement"???

It's a KYOCERA?

It had better not suck.

What do you seriously expect? I sure hope this is not the announcement..all that hype for this major announcement over this.
Sounds like a much bigger Motorola Backflip with two dual screens instead of the physical keyboard. I thought they were going to make an iPhone announcement. I might just skip over to Verizon to get one and call it a network...
It's a KYOCERA.

Of course, it's going to suck.

Kyocera

Needless to say, when I heard the name Kyocera I was doubtful that this was the big announcement, but now that I hear dual screen I'm more hopeful that this will be something cool. Done right, I'm sure Kyocera will put something funcational on the market, it just won't be cheap like some of their products. Anxious to see what it is tho
Since Kyocera bought Sanyo... I don't know if you've played with the Zio but its a total garbage compared to the lowest android on any carrier. So, coming from Kyocera or Sanyo... I don't expect anything mind blowing or a great phone.
I agree. Past dealings with this company have left me and others with spoiled appetites. However, there are several cellphone manufactures that have polished their terds recently. Let's see of Kyocera is up to bolstering a new perception.

Battery Life?

I've been reading about this. But I question the power consumption while both screens are illuminated. The other question is whether either screen will double as a qwerty keyboard for the other while in landscape?

sounds like a unicorn

That really sounds like some mystical unicorn of a phone. If this really pans out, that could be something to watch. However, it being Kyocera leaves a lot of doubt in my mind of its quality.
