Crapple

It is..
Like it or not, this "crapple" you speak of revolutionized the smartphone industry. The advent of downloadable apps from a marketplace? Almost completely Apple's doing. I'm not an Apple fanboy (have an Android phone right now) but give me a break. The...

Who would care

about a Verizon iPhone since it is 3G and most Verizon subscribers who have or want to get a smart phone, want a faster non-proprietary device running on a 4G network?
People who want a picture of an apple on the back of their smartphone 🤣 !!!

it' the iDIOTPhone, they dont know what is 4G or LTE.
i just dont understand all the hypes on a apple!
i using android 2.2, and have no plan to get apple!

It is all about the user. I would never even think of getting it since my next phone is going to be a LTE phone. But, my wife on the other hand is a different story. It is perfect for her. She will barely use any data related stuff so she has abso...

Evrodude, you have to understand people for this to make sense. Most of us here know about the advantages of other devices. I am not going to spend time here bashing the iPhone, let's be honest, the iPhone changed the game and became iconic (Hey Mr ...

We care.
Most smart buyers and power users will by a 4g Android or wait till the iphone 5 drops before renewing that contract with verizon. But we will see who spoon feeds on the verizon iphone 4. I personally cant wait till Sprints announcement on feb 7th. :-...

I have to agree. I love the iphone and everything but the iphone 4 is outdated and with Verizon having and expanding LTE and releasing LTE phones, I just dont see the point, especially with the pricing of 199.99 or 299.99 which is way to high on att o...

Please Help Me Understand

Ok. I can understand being bored and clicking on an article about the phone even if one does not particularly care for the phone. And maybe I can understand clicking on the article to read the opinions of others. What I CANNOT understand is clicking on the forum and being the FIRST person to post about it and that post being some negative comment asking why someone would buy the iphone. A better question is Why the *BLEEP* are YOU posting here at all? If the iphone isn't for you then no one particularly gives a *BLEEP* Let the door knob hit you...
I'll help you understand. First off, I was not the first person to post on the article. Two, i did not click on the article to read it. It was displayed in full view when I accessed Phonescoop this morning like I do every morning. Three, if you do not...

When a product they don't like is successful.

Or simply when a product is successful.

I just personally think it's funny that people absolutely hate a phone that makes no difference whatsoever in their lives.

It's like a guy screaming "I H...

Question....

So while I was trying to pre-order my iPhone this morning (yeah yeah yeah) I noticed it kept adding Verizon's $29.99 data plan to my line. I called the CS line, waited 30 mins, and finally spoke to someone. They informed me that because I'm a legacy Alltel account that in order for me to get the iPhone I have to switch my plan to a Verizon plan. I asked they agent are you sure about this because I'm calling you on a Droid X now so I don't see the difference. He said yes. Is there any other legacy accounts out there that are having this issue? It doesn't make sense for me to have to switch my plan to get the iPhone especially if I bought the original Droid and the Droid X while I've been on the Alltel plan..

(Yes, I know that many of you h...

I believe that I read an article last night that said that, but I can't find it. I do believe this is the future though. Verizon said that they would be going to a tiered plan for data, so obviously they need a way to enforce it. Even I already had...

iphone pre-order 1 year contract

Does anyone know if the Iphone pre-order will be offered with a 1 year contract as an option ? Also, any news if Verizon will offer employer discounts off the iphone data plan or will that be excluded ? Thanks
From what I have read, there isn't a new "iphone data plan" it is the same data plan that all smart phones use. That would lead me to say that yes your employer discounts would still count. I get 21% off of mine so its like $23 for data instead of 3...

The iPhone will be available on a 2 year contract or full retail price only. At this time there is not a 1 year option.

Time Zone?

Eric, is that 3AM in any time zone, or a specific one? Out of curiosity.
Eastern time zone. Thought I put that in there. Sorry. West coasters don't have to get up in the middle of the night.
