Has things the Lotus doesn't

Those of us who like clamshell styles and don't want a 5 inch all touchscreen phone will like this. I have to see it in person first of course but it's got apps, wifi, new os on board, Full qwerty (unlike the previous flip version) good cam w flash which is a must for me now on my phone & I like the styling of the Lotus esp the Elite which is easy to talk on "yes that's still done on a phone". Anyway this very well may be my next phone prob on my upgrade the price may even drop. Oh and to squash all the stereotypes no im not a girl and im not that old Lol. Ive seen some pics of this phone not looking to shabby when closed at least. It looks pretty compact who else agrees with all this & may get this??
I know a lot of people with the Lotus and love the form factor- it just makes sense. It's super comfortable to type on because you don't have the awkward weighting you get with slide-up keyboard (Torch)

Think of who Blackberry users are, they are mainly business people who use the phone as a communication tool. Many are put off by all of the "cool factor" of Android and iphones.
This phone makes a lot of sense for some of my customers who work in t...

"Style"

hahahahha a name that does not match the phone LMAO, the so called NEW blackberry models should include the word outdated in their names instead.
lol, exactly
Whats outdated about it? Just because its not a touch screen doesn't make it outdated.

Who are you trying to convince? You sound like a guy laughing at his own jokes. If Blackberry OS is not for you, one wonders why you would even bother clicking on an article about a RIM product never-mind actually COMMENTING on one. I guess even RI...

I've noticed that rather little has been spoken about that actual phone, as opposed to RIM as a technological failure. While I agree that they remake "new" phones from existing designs, they also have created the Torch, which I feel is an acceptible i...

No 3G (EVDO) ???

no problem with the form factor, but i noticed the press release touts "Wi-Fi® for faster connectivity and extended data coverage." no mention of 3G anywhere in there. i take this to mean this will only be capable of 1xRTT speeds when not connected to WiFi. that's kinda lame.
No of course it will have 3g as well & it will have CDMA Data
1xEV-DO rev.A hope that helps.
