these phones are going to suck
Take, for instance, the HTC Hero. A cool phone at first glance, but it struggled to run 1.6 and Sense out of the box. 528 MHz processor. Upgrading it to 2.1 is a no-no.
And don't get me started on the Intercept. >_<
How are these phones going to wow anyone with these pathetic specs? Such weaknesses invariably lead to a poor user experience.(And from my perspective as a sales rep, nothing but returns and exchanges.)

Im diggin this mid range line up! And the Sprint ID is a great idea gets rid of that carrier bloatware and gives customers options that better fit there lifestyles. 😎
How much you want to bet most of these amazing apps will be exlcusive to those ID's?

Thought 2.2 was supposed to be for 1ghz and high phones? If that is not the case why won't the Moment ever be upgraded to 2.2? It has a freaking 800mhz processor.

The clock speed of a processor doesn't really matter.
It's moreso the way that the processor is made and how efficient it can be to handle different tasks.

Digging the Transform...
I've been waiting for a lower-cost version of the Epic, and this looks to be it. Not to mention it seems to be leagues better than the Intercept.
This will likely replace it too, as the Intercept (apparently) going to be discontinued to head to the prepaid shores of Virgin.
