LOC-AID API's

These LOC-AID guys are pretty serious about privacy management. They focus on enterprise developers, companies with big apps and customers. If you are looking for a quick location API for a gaming app or start-up, LOC-AID isn't the first place to look, because they have a high bar for app certification (see their dev zone). Check out the dev zone - it is all about enterprise LBS.

The fact that 3rd party APIs can be brought to the market in as little as 14 days is great. As a developer, I hate the thought of developing an application and then having it get lost in a corporate labyrinth to emerge at some unknown date in the future. Based on reputation and developer experience, it seems that most people are heading straight to LOC-AID, a company known for its high level of developer support and simple carrier onboarding process. They take the headache of dealing with carriers and leave developers to do what the latter like best – write code.
