Verizon Only?

I'm a little confused by this... what part of this requires Verizon's network? Is this just like Skype where if I want to use this feature I need to use Verizon's network because they paid money to keep the app off of Sprint, T-Mo, and AT&T?

I love how open Android is. 🤣
This isn't android, it's an application for android.

And if Android PROHIBITED carrier locked apps, then they would be less open than if they allowed them.

There is nothing that locked this app to verizon, but Microsoft most likely paid big buck...

i don't understand this either, verizon paid for this for nothing cause you can access this from any providers phone...

Preloaded?!!!? Screw you Verizon! ! !

This is going too far Verizon! ! ! My choices come down to rooting my next smartphone, or getting a Super AMOLED equiped Samsung Android smartphone from Sprint with WiMax. Verizon is intruding too much in the user exeperience!!!
You sound really angry for no reason, if you do not like the application dont use it. That will not ruin your experience.

If you don't want pre-loaded crap you buy a Nexus One or an iPhone. Sprint's going to pre-load a bunch of white trash crap on their phones, Verizon's going to load the crappiest apps you can imagine, and AT&T's going to try its own knockoffs of those...
