What part of Android wasn't ripped off?

At this point you've got Microsoft settling and Apple suing over the end user experience, and you've got Oracle suing over the foundation. Yikes.
This is ridiculous, in my humble opinion. We are WAY too lawsuit-happy in this country.

New Business Model-- If your product isn't selling, find someone to sue

Why do these companies not focus on their own sales force instead of their lawyers?

Is there a line on their PNL for litigation winnings under the revenue section?
Our system is set up to keep other people from cherrypicking your own intellectual property. So if I spend 5 years coming up with a sophisticated programming language and testing it out, someone else can't see it and copy it in 1/5th that time.

Umm, what does "PNL" stand for?

database vs. search

Fun fight.

This could be bad

I think this is different than the Apple thing. Given that, this could be potentially damaging to the cell phone industry given the popularity of the Android system. If Oracle wins this lawsuit, say goodbye to google and android. Back to good ol' Windows operating system on cells. LOL. This can't happen, if anything, google should offer to allow Oracle to partner so the Android system stays. Its all about making money, but you can't make money if you piss off the consumer. Right?
