UTSTARCOM?

I remember the days that UTSTARCOM had the guts to put their own name next to their products, instead of using the abbreviation, PCD(Personal Cellular Division, as in the part of their company that markets cell phones), as a proxy name. You cannot blame them, though, because they have always been very terrible. there are two plus' to what i see from the pics, though. They can always liquidate PCD 🤣 , and they didn't come back with another wannabe-smartphone like the Quickfire
PCD was a division of UT Starcom, but they spun it off. It's a separate company now.

Like always, (going back to their Audiovox days,) they don't make most of their own phones. Most of the ones they're known for - the 8000 series - are actually mad...

Let's not forget their origins as AUDIO VOX. They had AUDIO (ear) + VOX (voice) technology.

Second, anything ever sold under AudioVOX + UTStarcom + PCD has always been crap, the exception being the Toshiba-branded non-smartphone handsets.
