are there real stastics on smartphone viruses?

Smartphone viruses are so insanely rare I can't believe anyone would be crazy enough to let Symantecs bloatware corrupt their phone. Are there any actual statistics on smartphone viruses? It has to be so miniscule that anti-virus on your phone would be nonsense.

Remote wipe and call blocking isn't so bad, but all the other crap you'd get... I trust Norton as far as I can throw them.

Norton is garbage

The last brand I would want for ANYTHING.
I fix computers for a living. ANYONE THAT DOES WHAT I DO, AND DOESN'T WORK FOR BEST BUY, would NEVER put NORTON ANYTHING, on a computer. This CRAP has by far caused more trouble and headaches for my users over the years than anything it has ever purpo...
Don't shoot until you size up your enemy. In third party Antivirus comparisons, this year's Norton achieved the best level of detection and prevention, as well as having much, MUCH better performance than it has ever had. They rewrote Norton 2010 grou...
