Please Sprinr stop...

You have already sold me on getting an EVO for $69.99 a month, you don't need to try so hard πŸ™‚
$79.99*

Sorry about misreading the price, still want it though 😁

Good for them!

Because at $110.00/month that's steep as hell and better be able to replace your home broadband connection.
That would replace home broadband, and home phone (seriously.. why HAVE a home phone anymore?)
...
$80/month for the majority of people that don't need unlimited minutes.

450 minutes for 69.99... + $10.

Unlimited Cell-to-Cell + 450minutes is more than good enough for most people.
...
Hmmm ... considering it would be 69.99 + 59.99 (130.00) for comparable plans in 3G from Sprint & more from other carriers so ... 110 is a steal!

How cares about the $10 fee, if it is true and you want the phone!

Verizon charges $10 for data for every "multimedia" device they sell. Multimedia meaning touch screen or keyboard phone, whether the customer wants it or not, it is a requirement. Only phones that do not require it are the intensity, cosmos and razzle, if you get a plan or upgrade after 01/18/10. That is crap when it comes to a $10 charge.

Sprint is only charging $10 for 4G capabilities. I am not in a 4G area, but there is one an hour away and I travel enough to want the feature the few times a year I will be in that area. This is not a concern for the customer that has been wanting and waiting for this phone. Haters will always hate, if people did not hate on this phone something would be wrong.

My bill is 69.99 unlimited what I nee...

Sprint already has unlimited data for 3g phones..

Are the new plans changing so their is a 5gig cap for all 3g devices?
5Gig cap is for Mobile Broadband service ONLY at this time! The 3G svcs from your phone are unlimited, but from a data card would have a cap ... but I dont think I have EVER seen an account where a phone has reached 5Gigs, but very easy to do with a ...

Mobile Hot Spot...

A question: Is the mobile hot spot treated as an infrastructure or ad hoc connection? I would love to hook up a PS3 with a 4G connection, but I believe a PS3 does not connect to ad hoc.

Well.....

I would not switch to Sprint if they paid me to use there service. I tried them and here in Alabama if you get off of I20 of I59 you cant even make a phone call, and in some places on northern I59 it don't even work there. I think this is great for the few that live in an area where Sprint works both for the rest "majority" of us they are not an option.
LMAO @ Alabama being the majority!

The Death Strike to all other carriers

No limit, means droves of people will likely be dropping their current cell providers to get a taste of true internet browsing. Take that iphone

First of all, the vast majority of users don't come near 5GB. Second, if Sprint's prices haven't gotten them to switch, this certainly won't.

I want WiMax!!

...but Indy isn't even in sight on any of the "Coming Soon" launch city lists.

I want to to pay an extra $39.00/mo so I can get rid of my home isp plus the added bonus of WiMax being faster and portable.

Sprint/Clear better get crackin and start rolling out more groups of cities at a time. VZW is coming with LTE and I'm paying who ever gets it in my area first.
