Balderdash

I am sitting in IAH at this very moment and cannot get service with my Clear aircard.

Then again, I can never get service at the airport in Austin but I can get it everywhere else. Why does this seem to be an issue at airports, Clear?
Probably due to security concerns. Valid, I'd say. I can totally understand not getting service at the airport.

htc evo

does anyone have any info at all about the release date of the evo?
Kind of an off-topic question, really. Clear isn't offering the HTC Evo. In fact, they're not offering mobile phone service. Just broadband internet for home or laptop, and VOIP.

I am so getting this

This is the absolute perfect solution for me to get home internet again where I'm currently living (don't have home internet right now). I checked the Clear.com website and my coverage area is the best. I love the pricing and the fact that I have the option to go without a contract and can buy my equipment outright.

I'm really looking forward to this.
I'm in Dallas and didn't think I had coverage and my house received it, performance wasn't great but than I found the tower and put the Overdrive in window and got about 2 1/2 MB's on Download. Not to bad.

So for all the wimax down talkers how is this:

Helping Michigan customers to get the best out of their energy delivery infrastructure, GE has initiated a pilot program employing WiMAX (News - Alert) 4G communications and smart meters.

According to GE, this is the first-ever U.S. smart grid pilot program using this technology.

The GE smart meters proved features such as real-time instrumentation, power quality monitoring and accessing critical information. GE claims that these features provide customers with benefits such as higher productivity, improved efficiency and reduced energy costs.

To fine-tune smart meter capabilities using this technology, GE has collaborated with a number of utilities around the world, including Consumers Energy and American Electric Power in the Unit...

Congratulations Houston!

I am extremely jealous. I would really love to experience WiMax, but it is not available where I live. I would love to hear testimonials for Houston. Many individuals have expressed interest for that area.
So would I. I am pretty sure that the only way I will see Wi-Max or LTE is if I move.

Industry consultant Robin Williams had this to say:

Houston no longer has a WiMax problem *beep beep* Houston Texas we HAAAVVEEEE a Problem Texas King of The Hill "Propane and Propane Accessories, Bobby it's clean burning" talk about getting burned how about Android's crappy development.... Android I'm a robot beep beep boop tell you who else is a robot is Richard Branson Virgin Mobile "I'M GOING INTO SPAAACCEEEE and PARACHUTING BACK TO EARTH... oh wait HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!"
Wow, somebody hasn't had their coffee this morning.
Not that there is any real issue with Android- but what exactly does Android have to do with 4G going live in Houston?

I am so happy but will be happier

when I get it. 😁
Any idea when you're going to sign on? You should also be excited for the HTC Evo too. I am so stoked for all of this right now. I live in Rochester NY and there is no telling when we will be the lucky winners.
