Where's bluecoyote now?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he can launch into an anti-Android rant for us again.

well thats a start

Nice to see we are not completely left in the dark. Smile
I'm guessing that maps is seen as an application, where the Browser is a core process. Apps can be updated through the store, core processes need OTA

I'm glad they didn't take away the zoom buttons!

I just updated mine and I'm glad they added it for when I'm stationary...but I'm also glad they realized that multitouch requires TWO HANDS and that's not a good idea when you're driving, so they left the -/+ zoom buttons on the screen for us too.

BTW, they seem to be adding cool stuff to Maps from Google Labs somewhat regularly. I just discovered they've added a "My Location" button, which I've been missing from the Windows Mobile version ever since I switched to the Droid.

Has anyone been able to find the Night Mode, though? Or maybe that is only for the N1? I can't find it.
Night mode will ONLY show up when you are using Google Maps navigation. It basically dims the screen and makes those green borders black.
