Whatever happened to ' if you can't beat em join em'?

Moto needs to put their resources to work in their phone line up and not their legal team. Why not just make a better product? Motorola probably wants to irritate RIM enough to simply settle out of court to not have to deal with the whole situation. RIM's only problem is that they're one of the few handset manufacturers making money nowadays. So I guess if you can't beat em sue em right?
pretty much, no one wants to join the enemys so why join when u can sue them for every penny that they are worth!! well they want to sue them for every penny but i doubt that will happen anytime soon! 🤣
