I can't believe Verizon is taking our freedoms away by forcing us to do an update on a phone! 🙂
i know seriously it is out of control. how dare they try and improve the quality of the phone.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! On a more serious note I really hope they address the inability to voice dial over BT in the Android OS. Does anyone know if this is even being considered?

Should I wait for this update?

As of now, I am not too impressed with the Droid, and I am considering exchanging it for either the BB Storm 2 or the Samsung Omnia 2.

Does anyone know if this fix that is coming will stop programs from starting and running in the background, even though I have not opened them? The corporate calendar and Google Talk service seem to always be running, and I do not use either of them.
Um, if you weren't aware Blackberry's also have several programs running in the back ground that you can't close.
I never noticed that with my Moto Droid, had some programs start running by themselves but a task killer app would take care of them.

Really?! Just look up some of the apps thats you can use to manage your apps. A great one is taskiller. You can set it up to ignore specific apps if you need to keep them open or have it close everything right from a widget on you screen. I owned a...
