What was wrong with the camera to begin with?

Anyone know?
I've heard complaints about it being slow, especially the lag between pressing the shutter and the picture being taken. Other than that, I don't know.

Ok so WHEN?

So when is the update coming the 5th of Never?
Why would they not give a time frame, I know some updates from these companies (moto) have taken 6 Months + to fix issues with their V750... for example. The camera issue should be a simple patch they can apply, who knows...
The 11th of December.

As I just picked up a Moto Droid and am experiencing the audio problems (clipping, echo). I'd like the update sooner rather than later.
But the 11th is still within my 30 day trail case the update doesn't fix the audio issues...

...this is just a rhetorical question. You sound like someone in the know. Someone too smart to actually BUY another Motorola phone after being all too aware of their failings in the past.
