So Google wants you to pay for something all the other email providers offer for free?

sounds like Google isn't doing as good as they say they are!
And where did you read that google is charging people? Might want to take a closer look at the article...or read better.

3-year-old SonyEricsson already does this

All you need for push Gmail is an imap4-enabled client.

I can't believe the iPhone didn't already support one of the 2 basic email protocols. OK, obviously I can believe it, but I was not previously aware.

What DOES the iphone do?
It does Youtube rather well. Oh, and its a touch screen. Yeah yeah, AND it does iTunes.

It is not a true Google App.

Company called Tiverias Apps created the app, not google.

at the app store, can anyone else find Gpush?
