Smart move, ridiculous price...

They finally get a phone worth buying but the price is way too high, on the bright side at least web is included, why can't they do something to lower the price like if you want the 8330 at a discounted price then you pay for a couple months in advance or purchase any metro pcs/blackberry accessories? Also will the Metro Pcs version of the Curve come with Metro's own software or RIM's proprietary o/s?

Price

It's $449 according to Metro's web site. I've been waiting to see if they allow BB's from other carriers to be converted using their MetroFlash program. For $40 I'd take my Verizon Pearl to them in a second!

Good...But Sucks?!

This is a great device and I'm glad some of the more regional and price-conscious carriers are beginning to offer them.

However, it sucks because an AWS only market such as Boston loses out on this device due to it's 850/1900 only chipset.
