Do Not buy this phone.

I deal with customers all day long who are upset at their Gravity T because either the touchscreen barelly works, the software barelly works, or the phone is constantly freezing.

Do yourself a favour and buy the Gravity SMART.

Gravity T questions

I am considering this phone but am wondering why they would offer a phone in this market with a reduced ($10) internet connect. They certainly don't advertise it and I have been w/ T-mobile for many years.

I have been looking at one of the HTC 2 phones (love the screen) but am wary of adding yet another 30+ monthly internet charge.

I also am conused about what "no wi-fi" means. (obviously i don't know my way around all this new technology) If you are paying for internet on your phone why would you then need wi-fi.

Thanks in advance for any info and advice.

Lock Feature

Does anyone know if the "lock" feature can be disabled or bypassed? I am having trouble unlocking it every time I get a call. Or is the "lock" feature a safety measure to ensure there aren't accidental (butt) calls?
Not familiar with this phone in particular. But the lock feature should be able to be disabled through the setting menu.

Is it just when the screen times out it automatically locks?
Ok, Menu>settings>call settings and scroll to the bottom where it says "Automatic Screen Lock and choose Off.

Then to take automatic lock off your phone for any other reason go to Menu>settings>phone settings and go to Touch Panel auto-lock and ch...

Samsung Gravity T

Specs state it has WiFi capability; reviewer states it does not!

What is the story?
No WiFi

Sorry to say but, if its not a Smartphone i.e EVO, Droid, Motorola Cliq/Backflip, HTC, Garmin, etc then it does not have wifi. Many non smartphones apparently do not support wifi. I may be wrong but this is what i know.

Glad to see...

...the Dolphin browser on this handset. It's webkit based and a definite step up from Netfront.
