And What in June?

The turnover to digital and warnings have been going on for several years, people did not listen.

Now what about in June? These same people still will say, we had no idea, we are going to lose tv, we are on a fixed income. Well news for ya buddy, we are all on "FIXED INCOMES". And we all had to roll with the times. This has nothing to do with being selfish, it has to do with spectrum to be used for a different purpose that will benifit far more then those who don't feel like getting a converter box.

They say this is going to effect anywhere from 20 to 40 million households, I really would like some proof of this more then speculation.

Yes, the warnings have been going for several years, but I was under the impression that this was more of an issue of the government being backed up with unsent converter box coupons

How ready was Verizon anyway?

Unless Verizon had absolutely everything ready to be turned on the day those airwaves were vacated, I don't think it would have a material effect to delay for several months. With the slowing economy, Verizon may even delay some of the rollout of services on that spectrum, if they forecast a low demand.
Agreed. All of this depends on how ready the carriers were to use the spectrum.

Interesting

Since Verizon is one of those that would lose if the government delayed and VZW was ready to use the spectrum , the delay sounds like a win win for at least the govt and Verizon.

Now how about the other carriers?
