3GPP Expects to Ratify LTE Standard in March 2009
They have seen the light!
It always amazes me that companies can denounce a technology(WiMax) as non-threatening, yet eloquence materializes once the fear factor gels into a realization. WiMax is the push that 4G needed to bring LTE to light. No screwing around, no bickering, no wishy-washy decisions, no more underestimating. Just get the product done and out there or loose ground on an evolution. Thank you WiMax! You have already won no matter what the world standard is. Once again, Sprint pushes a technical advancement into reality sooner rather than later.
