Samsung Eternity Appears on AT&T Web Site

Every once in a while I look down and see the Orange Circle with the TV logo inside on my phones display page. I don't subscribe or use this feature, I'm just trying to see if there's a way to turn this off permanently.

Hey so I got the Eternity June 2009 and have thoroughly enjoyed it...up to the point where about a month or two ago the music would no longer play. I tried to shock/restart it and everything, but nothing. Luckily it was/still is under the 1yr warranty, so I called customer service (AT&T) and they sent me a new phone. Worked great...until yesterday it decided to not play music anymore! The day before I was listening and playing music all day and nothing was wrong. I'm thinking about calling customer service again to get a new one but I want to see if there is something that I can do to fix it. So...any tips??

Did they discontinue the Eternity? And since it's discontinued, what if you have to do a warranty exchange? Will you still recieve the same model phone?

I just bought my eternity from a friend and when i loaded mp3 ringtones and music onto the device, it becomes overly loud and scratchy when played and the volume reverses itself (aka 7 is the quietest and 1 is the loudest) and even when i set it to 7, it is still WAY TOO loud! Has anyone else had this problem or know of any way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

were can i download free games for eternity .jar i know how to put them on my phone but the only .jar files i can find are not tuchscreen games and don't fit the screen

My wife has a new eternity phone. I would like to install some third party apps, but all I find is java apps. How do I do that? Thanks a lot

Is it possible to do this? It appears you can only save 500 text messages, so I was hoping to save them to the memory card instead of to the phone/SIM card.

We are on AT&T and I want to be able to read all of my childs text messages, but by the time it gets to 500 I haven't read them yet.

games through ATT seem a bit 'lacking'. Anyone know of others that will work on this phone? I tried some java games that were listed on this board but they didn't work....

Ok I been searching for Java apps...there's a few things out there. Anyone know of any good sites. ALSO looking for a free GPS app....found a few...dowload & install them just find but it cannot set up to use the gps...im guessing at&t put some kind of lock on this where we can only use at&t/telenav navigator...any feedback?

Just got the Eternity. Love it... almost. We brought over our old sim card since it had all the contacts already in it. Many of the numbers got mixed up in the transition regarding what type of phone it is. For example, Home numbers keep showing up as Work and vice/versa. Everytime I change this and click Save everything seems to work fine until I exit the address book. Then when I go back, it's mixed up the numbers again.

Can anyone please help with this? I have 2-3 numbers for many of my contacts and I want just 1 address book entry for each contact with their associated numbers in their record.

Great phone if I can resolve this! Also, I've created new entries and it still happens. Very frustrating! Help is appreciated!!

I went to the MEdia Net icon - then to Favorites - entered the URL Address for my email server "mail.xxxx.com" and saved it. when you go back thru MEdia Net you'll find your favorite and when you press it you will be taken to you email URL. Then you have to type in your email address section before the @symbol and your PW. It works OK BUT.......

What I would like to know is how can I enter in my address and password into the favorite URL field so it I don't have to key it in?

What magic symbols do you uses? commas, dashes,slashes???

ok when i try to use something with the internet it jsut says connecting failed.. if i try to use msn or email i get error 10 or error 20

does anyone know how to get a flash player for this phone.

I feel really stupid for asking this but how do you type a 0 (zero) into a text message in the keypad mode with t9 on? I've been trying to figure it out for a while but to no avail. I know I could just turn it into qwerty mode and type it in from there but that's a lot for one number.

every time i use Opera mini or google maps it asks is it okay to use internet. not on media net just these apps. is there a way to make it not ask every time...

Is there a way to allow my new Eternity phone to receive emails via MS Outlook/Exchange? I did see some prior postings indicating this capability may be coming soon.

I have the Samsung Eternity and a 2009 Camry Toyota. This is the second phone I've used with the vehicle. No problems pairing my previous phone; an LG, but with this one I have to pair the phone every time I want to use it.

Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Any suggestions?
