700mhz band..

hmmmm... cox might actually have a good network. Propagation is great in this band, especially if they roll out LTE (OFDM).
What do you mean by "propagation is great in this band"? How does it diffr from other bands such as 850, 1900, 2100?

I think I heard 700 band is more linier and that it staggers less than higher bands such as the 1900 band. And that the 700 band pe...

LOL cox sucks

i hate them,,,,
they suck at tv....
they suck at internet....
and they will suck at cell service,.
ive been stuck with them for internet because no dsl or otehr cable company is avalible were i live in vegas... and i cant set up directv because of the way my patio faces,,, i would pay to be able to switch
I know, I live in Vegas too, Cox isn't ambitous enough with HD programming! ! ! That's really all I have bad to say about Cox.

Why don't they just start building a 4G network?

instead of a 3G one. By the time they're finished, they'll be on time (or ahead of the others).
Yeah, and what else would be a good idea is to use they're existing cable broadband as a backhaul network to the wireless one. They're backhaul network would be much, much faster than AT&T's EDGE network. Which is they're backhaul network to 3G.
